Julio Fuentes, Exordium Capital’s founder and Chief Investment Officer, brings over 20 years of real estate and investing experience as an investment analyst and portfolio manager for global institutional money managers including State Street Global Advisors and Columbia Management.
Julio began his career in investment research and management following his graduation from Bryant College in 1995. He worked first for Telekrus USA, as a Senior Research Analyst, and then moved to Waltham, MA, to build specialized asset-backed securities platforms for Lewtan Technologies, where he served as the project’s lead securities analyst.
In 2001, Julio received his MBA from Boston College, specializing in Investments and Real Estate. Shortly after, he joined State Street Global Advisors where he executed portfolio management responsibilities for $2.6B of active and passive portfolios, including performing investment analysis on all real estate related investment opportunities.
He was then recruited by Columbia Management to serve as a Senior Equity Portfolio Manager on Columbia’s Real Estate Fund. Conducting both bottom-up and top-down research on targeted real estate companies, Julio was responsible for performing analysis and providing investment recommendations to senior executive team members.
Julio is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he lives in Newburyport, MA, with his wife, Teresa, and their two daughters.

Robert Christy, Exordium Capital’s President, is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure or transition of capital projects.
Rob brings over 19 years of management experience, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer for Alternative Therapies Group (ATG) where he was tasked with many responsibilities which included, managing multiple large-scale-- multi-million dollar-- construction build-outs, directing the renovation and design of retail sites, and providing daily oversight for all manufacturing and retails operations-- encompassing more than 100 employees.
Prior to his time with ATG, Rob worked for more than 10 years in the public sector at Massachusetts Port Authority. His various management responsibilities included managing air-side and land-side construction projects and ensuring compliance of both federal and state regulatory programs.
Additionally, for over 15 years Rob has served with the United States Navy in various Leadership roles that included: Department Head (Intelligence) for Coastal Riverine Squadron Eight, Officer-in-Charge for a Naval Intelligence Exploitation Team, and Senior Counter-terrorism Analyst for United States Central Command. Rob currently serves in a reserve capacity.
Rob holds a B.S in Operations Management from Bridgewater State University. A native of Salem, MA, he resides in Salem, NH with his wife Catherine and their two daughters.
